---Caught up

Flitted around town today, found many thrift shops to spend our kroners at--- new and old, neutral and colorful alike. The deep clouds cried today, wet the cobbles on the grounds, the bikes tickled with hydration, and many umbrellas popping in and out of shops.
Tranquility endures

~

We began our day at the laundromat cafe once again, tore at throats a little, and i ended up in a nearby cemetary for part of the day while anthony rested at the hostel. We gathered our senses, and continued onto the center of town.

Norrebro

The sun rose, shuffling of packs in our 9 person room awoke me from a slumber, and we began our day. Near our hostel, locals every saturday laid out their old belongings and trinkets for sale, we found some items for cheap, and continued on to a lovely breakfast at the Laundromat Cafe just up the street. Walked around town, here and there, exploration is key--

Copenhagen

We arrived at our quaint, sheeply decorated hostel in the Norrebro district, not far from the city center late that night. A long and tiresome trainride, most of which was spent sitting on the floor amidst pounds of luggage and other bodies on account the train was completely full and we had no reservations---
Went to bed early, drunken swedish men spewing chunks along the hallway, welcome !

Pedal

Rented quaint red bikes early the next morning, and traveled Far to the end of our map to a street where, apparently, a shop stood *where you could buy a kilo's worth of clothing for around 20 euros. 1 kilo = about 2.2 lbs. Thats a lot of clothing. Unforuntately, we could not find the shop, and later found out we were on the wrong street entirely. But all was not lost, i had a nice veg sushi lunch and mmm, miso soup. Anthony munched on a hot dog of course_i should really keep a tally of the consumption this trip- i could guestimate around 40. ~~~ We biked back up the map, rested, and prepared for another great night out with the familiar faces we met during day one.

the next morning we would rise, onto copenhagen

Sights to be Seen

Went out early, had a delicious breakfast down the street. Had a bright day bouncing around the town,
began with the Berlin wall, some parts still standing. A memorial of an old demolished church which stood between the wall, and plans for construction of a greater memorial lay in our path. We headed towards book burning square where we sat in the shade and i had a smoke. Onto checkpoint charlie, and the holocause memorial park-- where we spent the majority of our day sitting under the sun, relaxation,,

headed back to the hostel on their smelly underground metro-
easy night in the beer garden with a lad from washington

Berlin

We traveled on a train for most of the day-- The most beautiful train ride yet. I have never seen clouds such as the ones through Germany. (took pictures on film, can post when we return home)--
We arrived at our hostel in a hip part of town, bikes cluttered the streets with stylish and young people upon them. We explored the neighborhood and met some people for a night at the nearby beer garden. Kids running around, tables full of laughter and alcohol. As the night drew on, anthony went back to the hostel, and i continued to a bar with plush seats, expensive drinks and a pink hue.
Later that night, crawled back to the hostel where i spent a good 25 minutes outside our door knocking to be let in-great first night

the Cross Club

We crawled out of the club around 5am, the sun was rising and the air was crisp.

Prague

Met some kids from Amsterdam at Hostel Elf--- one of the coolest hostels we have stayed at so far. We walked into the hostel, full of dreads beer and laughter. The next night we began a game of kings cross with a room full of people, afterwards heading off to one of the coolest clubs i have ever been to-the Cross Club. It was full of electric, metal, moving parts, secret passage ways, and dancing.

-----------

I saw the most entrancing image the other day. On a train through Germany towards the Czech Republic, near Dreadson. Wide open, golden fields luminious with shadowed light. A lone tree stood facing my window in the distance. Behind it were three giant wind collectors, twirling in the unknown air outside. The next thing i will describe is entirely new to my eyes- Never have i seen clouds such as these. For miles as the eyes could see, thick thunder clouds dark to light billow throughout the sky. Flat on the bottom, gaining curvacious truffels upwards, light peaking through upon its soft shapes. They continued in voluptuous layers off into the distance. More gathered. Areas of sight were blocked with electric, foamy rain-showering below. As we moved forward, rain began to approach the window-slowly cealing the image deep within my imagination. I shall dream of this for nights to come.

East and West Coast travels

The man from Brooklyn joined us today as we bounced around Paris, really with no agenda. We ended up making our way to a little cafe, got some food and walked further to the Eiffel Tower. Climbed 668 steps or so to the second level, piered out upon all of paris. What a calming and beautiful day

--------leaving Paris at4 in the morning tomorrow, for a full day of train hopping, making our way to prague

The Louve

An overwhelming amount of objects lie in that ENORMOUS building, but oh how was it beautifully engaging. We walked around for hours, barely able to lift our feet towards the end-- so many different depictions of Jesus-- and years worth of collections of ancient cultures. Saw a mummified alligator-----
Sat in the grass afterwards and ate a delicious piece of chocolate under the sunlight. Made our way back to the hostel slowly, napped and had an easy night- still recovering from London:x

Paris

An awkward French Carnival near the Louve

Arrived in paris, the first night we stayed at the Aloha hostel-- dont really need to describe this one to you besides, gross bathrooms, uncomfortable beds, a short and somewhat unpleasant stay. The next night we went to the Woodstock hostel, which ended up being great. A cat named Jesus roamed the hostel, looked similar to my cat with more prominant eyebrows and expressive eyes- We hit it off. He sat next to me quite often upon a galaxy covered sofa while i surfed the intranet. Cooked some delicious pasta--met a man from Brooklyn whom we joined pasta/sauce ingredients, and talked of things past and present. The next morning we metro-ed around, saw the Moulin Rouge and went to the Louve-next post

Tate Modern

I keep forgetting all these details

Went to the Tate Modern in London
Saw some Dali
mmm

The London Dungon

"Tilt monitor sideways to view image properly"-Anthony

Took the London Dungon/Jack the Ripper tour with the Australians. The London Dungon was really interesting, so cheesy, and silly but fun. The Jack the Ripper tour was cool, we were all super hung over, so walking around with a lively guide was tiring-- but we saw where all the women "he" murdered were, and the story behind its happenings. Very interesting. Check out Casebook.org "Casebook not facebook"-Anthony (hes just on a roll with these comments, haha)

Left the next morning, EARLY

House of London

The abode for a fun time in London

see you in august

(convinced the auzzies to travel to amsterdam with us... muhuah)

HP

Met a nice swiss lad, slash look alike, held the crowd extensively. We bounced around the area looking for a pub that was open on a sunday night-- failure. BUT.. we did see Platform 9 3/4

the end

Into the night

Auzzies

We began our night with handful of Red Stripe amongst the slum of the neighborhood near Cargo--our destination. Shots of gin sambuka cider rum heinakin followed. By the time Joker came on, anthony was dancing like a empowered dub slave, the auzzies pulled their hair with pleasure and i danced in happiness. We established our cubby in the corner of the yard, laughter arose and our night continued. A short taxi ride, and blocks of staggered walking.. we arrived at the hostel and fell upon our pillows.

London

Arrived at the Generator early in the morning, locked out of room until 2pm after a long plane and metro ride----crawled upon a couch in the bright and noisy lobby for an afternoon nap. Met some australians in the smoking area, of course, and convinced them to tag along to see Joker later that night at Cargo in the middle of somewhere London. Consumed an overwhelming amount of alcohol, ended up fluttering around the streets later that night dragging drunken Anthony along by his ankles--not as bad as New Years 2009, but definently at the top of his list, haha.
Our first English breakfast------- devoured

The Process Begins

An inconceivable amount of clothing is piled strewn across the living room floor. I have taken over the left side of the house entirely-- an abundance of travel sized objects, plain clothing, medicine bags, locks, bags, shoes, film, cameras, tickets, print outs, confirmations... GALORE. One and a half more days until we bored the plane at 12pm for a long, xanax enabled flight only to arrive at 7 in the morning the next day- England. Our first destination.
Terrified of flying... the anxiety has not quite hit yet. Only because i know i can subdue the feeling with a pill of xanax, a weed cookie and telepopmusik. Ahoy! Here is to the next chapter... the next adventure.. with a man i adore, love, admire. Here is to our travels.. WILL WE COME OUT ALIVE?
i do indeed belive so--
Will throats be torn?
Most likely--
Will anyone follow us?
Perhaps Brittany

We hope to blog as often as possible,
